61st Annual National Stationery Show: Write to be Green - Part I Like the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) held at the same time in New York, the National Stationery Show's (May 20-23, 2007) overriding theme was "green" design. Recyclable paper and nontoxic inks were more prevalent than ever before; floral and tree motifs were also as popular as always; and the color green made an impact in collections. A return to old-fashioned techniques like the letterpress gave cards a rich embossed effect.
