Her Caterpillar Dress, a simple A-line with buttons at the shoulders is meant to be worn as a dress and then transition into a swing top as the child grows older.

SARA NOELLE Homebase: Short Hills, NJ DESIGNER: Lina Vaticano Sicoli Sizes: 12 months to 10 years; Wholesale prices: $13.50-$62 Sicoli designed for high-end companies such as Armani Baby, Tommy Hilfiger and DKNY before launching Sara Noelle. Her training shows in her couture quality collection filled with "must-have" pieces. The selection of textiles and touches like glitter-flecked smocking on a menswear stripe reflect a well-honed eye for the perfect detail.

TODDLER AND UP: JAKEANDMAYA Homebase: London, UK DESIGNER: Tze Ching Yeung Sizes: NB to 6 years; Wholesale prices: $10-$83 (20 percent lower than show prices thanks to better manufacturing costs) Yeung's first collection offers crisp, tailored pieces with a few playful touches. Her color palette - warm neutrals with sparks of lilac and vivid aqua - sparkles.
Outstanding pieces: A suit and pants can look a trifle stuffy yet the linen, sure to rumple, and the sharp trim keeps the outfit casual. That ruffle on the girl's dress is large enough to make a statement but not so large that it overwhelms the wearer. The design works in the subtle print as well as the serene aqua. NELLYSTELLA Homebase: Taipan, Taiwan DESIGNER: Nelly Chen Sizes: 2 to 8 years; Wholesale prices: Contact manufacturer Chen's debut collection is feminine not edgy. The modern pieces, detailed with tiny tucks, flutter sleeves, and a ruffle here and there, evoke a vintage innocence without looking costumey.
Outstanding pieces: So much to love. The Carol Playsuit in a beautifully engraved Liberty print cotton has a dropped elastic waist that sits below the navel giving it Thirties inspired charm. It closes with tiny bows at the shoulder and one large, floppy bow in back.

CRYSTAL ROCK KIDS (O) Homebase: Culver City, CA DESIGNER: Crystal Audigier Sizes: Infant - Wholesale prices: contact manufacturer Crystal Audigier, the daughter of well-known fashion designer Christian Audiger who produces the Ed Hardy clothing collection as well as a line of glitzy men and women's wear, designs Crystal Rock Kids. Like her father, Audigier prefers flashy images: rhinestones, hot colors. It's a very grunge-glamour look.

ECO BELLA BELLO (O) Homebase: Brooklyn, NY DESIGNER: Ria Giuliano-Thomas Sizes: Girls and boys 2-8 years; Wholesale prices: $12.50-$14.50 Giuliano-Thomas's collection is an interesting juxtaposition of organic goods, a fruity sweet color palette and edgy graphics.
