*BABY BEEHINDS

(Organic)

Homebase: Pawley's Island, SC

Baby Beehinds, designed by Davia Casey, are better for the environment and undeniably better looking on the baby than disposable diapers. SLINGS/BABY CARRIERS/COVERS:

BEBE AU LAIT AND HOOTER HIDERS

Homebase: Los Gatos, CA

Both Bebe Au Lait and Hooter Hiders, designed by founder Claire Ekelund, share the patented rigid neckline that allows eye contact with baby during nursing. They're generously sized and the patterns are exclusive to the collection. What makes the two labels different? Hooter Hiders prints are a little funkier and the designs have a pocket or ruffled hems. Bebe Au Lait's prints are a touch more conservative with no extra details. Both make elegant, must-have gifts. (Both $17.50).

HOTSLINGS

Homebase: Dallas, TX

There are so many reasons to appreciate Hotslings AP ($24). Designer/founder Kristen DeRocha offers a sling that is one continuous piece with two buckles that make it adjustable for caregivers up to 220 pounds. No more sling for the parent and another for the nanny. The covered buckles afford protection from curious little fingers, the shoulder design is wide and comfortable, and there's enough padding to keep the baby's legs as well as the caregiver's hip comfortable. The AP is available in black and five sophisticated prints.
