SAURETTE Homebase: New York, NY DESIGNER: Lisa Kanouse Sizes: 2 to 12 years; Wholesale prices: $22-$55 Step into Kanouse's booth and you enter a world of fairies, flowers and frolicking fawns. The shapes are delicate and the graphics charming.

SES PETITES MAINS Homebase: San Francisco, CA DESIGNER: Beth Miles Sizes: 2T to 14 years; Wholesale prices: $24-$70 I don't try to hide my passions, so let me put this one right out there: Ses Petites Mains is one of my favorite collections. There's a narrative that runs through Miles' collections that is engaging and charming. She draws one in with shapes both timely and nostalgic, she isn't afraid of color and knows how to work it, and she selects textiles that add richness and texture to her pieces.
Outstanding pieces: The Lainey Dress is all about shape. The large scale pleats give the piece a grown up air, and look at what one, well-placed stripe does.

Outstanding pieces: For fall Park turns stretch denim into motorcycle jackets and demure ruffled jumpers. STUN Homebase: Philadelphia, PA DESIGNER: Christine Johnston Sizes: 2 to 12 years; Wholesale prices: $8-$30 If there were an award for best color palette at the exhibition, Stun would win first prize. Plum, magenta, poppy, pale lilac: what a gorgeous range. Add the sumptuous corduroy, velour, and cotton knits to the exuberant patterns and you've got a line with real impact.
