Designers: Andrea Nasstrom, Anna Hazard

Wholesale: $4 - $17

Standouts: The Musical Princess Skirt made of multi layers of white tulle lined in itch free satin and decorated with fuchsia sequined flowers; the Musical Hula Skirt made of salmon colored simulated grass and comes with a matching floral lei.

FYI: The two designers became good friends through the friendship of their children - (who were also the inspiration behind this whimsical collection). The boas light up and the dresses and skirts play music, including classics like "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker Suite" and you can actually hear the music by clicking on their website, www.actingoutdressup.com.

Harmony Baby

Visually elegant 16-tone Harmony Ball chiming silver, gold, or black rattles.

Wholesale: $24 - $78

Standouts: It's hard to single out just one design from among this tightly edited collection of single and double sphered rattles - some of which have elongated handles, barbell handles, or loop handles. They are all exquisite and can do double duty as objets d'art. (Talk about the ultimate in form AND function!)

FYI: Distributed by Are/Aware, each rattle is crafted in German silver - some have 14k gold overlays, some have hematite overlays. They are visually arresting, smooth to the touch, and create an ethereal, soothing sound. Each one is packaged in a satin-lined black velvet pouch, making it a perfect gift.

Salvor

A unique collection of bibs, T-shirts, one-pieces, and pillows hand screened with sepia toned vintage images in a dizzying assortment of animals, birds, and wildlife (including dogs, cats, falcons, owls, leopards, squirrels, bears, gorillas, zebras, wolves, deer, eagles).

Designer: Ross Menuez

Wholesale: $4- $42

Standouts: The almost eerily real life looking pillows which not only boast images of animals but are shaped like the animals. My personal favorites are the leopard and gorilla.

FYI: The famed fashion photographer Bruce Weber recently commissioned Ross Menuez to do some pillows for him with images of his dogs (he provided the pictures, natch!). The designer has a varied background which includes industrial and product design (he designed many items for Conrans in London). The name 'Salvor' is Icelandic and is the middle name of his daughter (mom is Icelandic). Mr. Menuez will be opening up a shop in Soho on November 15th (95 Spring Street, 212-226-5155).
