December 27, 2018 – Coronado Eagle & Journal – The dresses and outfits can only be described as whimsical, modern classic, well made and functional at Five Loaves Two Fish, a girls’ clothing store that recently opened on Orange Avenue. The beautifully decorated shop seems to have a little touch of magic to it.

Two sisters, Kit Kuriakose and Heather Haas, are the mastermind behind Five Loaves Two Fish (5L2F) company which grew from a small operation to what it is now – where the dresses are sold at major retailers.

The sisters grew up in Orange County where Kuriakose’s and Haas’ mother sewed. Their mother passed on her skill, teaching them to sew as well. By the time Kuriakose, the youngest of the two, was in high school she was sewing her own clothes while Haas didn’t start until her late 20s.
