May 15, 2019 – ColaDaily – Sarah Rama, owner of Columbia’s new children’s clothing boutique Duck Duck Goose, didn’t start out to be a retail entrepreneur. The Columbia native, armed with a business degree (and a retail minor) from the University of South Carolina first worked for the architectural firm GMK, and later joined the floor covering giant, Mohawk.
“I had worked in retail in high school and had become addicted to it,” said Rama. She later indulged her passion by starting an online retail store from her home. “I started Duck Duck Goose from my dining room table while working full time,” she added. Her focus was marketing children’s clothing from high-end manufacturers such as Little English, Kissy Kissy, and Pixie Lily.
