SHIRIN KIDS (O) Homebase: Roslyn, NY DESIGNER: Shirin Roubeni Sizes: 6 months to 6 years; Wholesale prices: $8-$20 Here's a mostly organic T-shirt and separates collection with something new to offer. Roubeni works a sophisticated palette of rich cocoa, pale gray with pops of fuchsia and lime into nature themes. The graphics the artist creates and hand-screens using water-based inks, combine floral motifs with fantasy and there's an added bonus: the tee's have a rich tactile quality thanks to a heat set pigment that creates a soft puffed effect on the garments' surfaces.

The powder-coated light boxes in practical white or three candy colors cast a bright aura around an adorable animal shape. Great singly, even better in groups, the Kutelight is a must have in any nursery or child's room. Made of recycled metal and lit with a fluorescent bulb, it's earth friendly too.

Freimuth launched Sanook (a Thai word for fun) with a line of vividly colored bedding and pillows. Her original patterns range from sweet vintage inspired designs to funkier motifs.
