She has an eye for color and she sweats the details: A ribbon circles the hip in the most flattering spot; skirt widths are full without being bulky to maintain a slim silhouette. The designs are pretty from neckline to hem.
Outstanding piece: There were a few drop-waist items at the show, but most had a vintage reference. Schlafir's drop-waist pieces have a strong, contemporary feeling.
