Pitti Bimbo Fall '07/Winter '08: Hitting the Runway - Part III
The collections below showed under the Gruppo Altana corporate banner.
MONCLER The designers at this Italian outerwear brand worked with clean, narrow shapes and used a palette of black and white, taupe, and an unexpected dusty green. The look is about vacations in the Alps, not hitting the slopes in Telluride. Vested interest.
Utilitarian parka goes the luxury route with fur trim.
Basics never looked so good.
JECKERSON Love orange? So do Jeckerson's designers who used the vivid tone to pop navy, lend contrast to rich wines and roses, and pair effortlessly with cocoa. The alternative to the saturated hues and happy patterns is a group of cool sand and pale cocoa neutrals. Orange pops navy and adds punch to polka dots.
Pebbles on the beach in pale sand, taupe and cocoa.
PINKO This collection doesn't play it safe. Designers paired hoodies and great, lacy knits with fun, rosy toned prints. One wonderfully shaped capelet stood out. Lacy knits and a hip print paint a rosy picture.
This capelet covers and defines the body beautifully.
Golden girl.
LIU.JO Pure happiness with a touch of bling is the infectious mood at Liu.Jo. Silver and white with bling.
Moody blues.
Prints get a running start.
DIMENSIONE DANZA Playwear needn't be down-market. Not when it's colored in cool blues, lush violets and the ever-present silver and white. Balancing out all the warm tones seen at the collections is this set that plays it cool in sky and teal.
Glamour on the playing field.
Color at play: The Dimensione Danza finale.
