Pitti Bimbo Fall '07/Winter '08: Hitting the Runway - Part IV
The Fall/Winter collection was divided into two categories: American Basic and Soft Military for boys; American Basic and Young Rural for girls. As the groups' titles imply, the garments gave a strong nod toward American classic looks. "Orange plus" and "geranium" added punches of color. Staying true to red, white and blue.
Geraniums bloom atop a bubble of a skirt.
An energizing jolt of orange.
All girls are princesses at Miss Grant and they mean that in the most flattering way. If they're not princesses than they're punk royalty. The designers told their story in silver, white and royal with denim Lurex, or Eighties inspired red, white and gray with a splash of red. Cinderella is escorted to the ball.
The white stuff.
Her royal highness.
Pretty in punk.
All that jazz.
Punk with spunk.
Brums' designers put their heart into this collection - literally. Models carried stuffed, felt hearts down the runway and the sweet motif was knit into the sweaters or sported on T-shirts. Quilted jackets, velvet trousers and real fur around coat collars lent a note of luxury to this sportswear line. A warm welcome to winter.
Love the lilacs.
Driving in neutral.
Designed by Preca Brummel for Suomy, this tiny collection of tween-to-16 sportswear included tees, jackets, shirts and "team" nylon jackets, all with a hard-edged, biker feeling. Born to be wild.
