Amanda Davis' and Andrew Davis' two-year-old company Bazzle Baby offers bibs, burp cloths and pacifier clips that reflect the couple's motto "Be brilliant, bold and expressive." The award winning, colorful cotton pieces are designed "for fun parents who put an emphasis on personality when dressing their children. Smart parents who want their children to look good and who want to feel good about their purchases. And practical parents that want products that work as well as they look," says Amanda. Davis designs with European and American fashion trends in mind, but understands that retailers and parents want great value for their money. "My goal is to provide my retailers with better than average margins and products that move!" she says. The company's signature product is the Banda Bib. This is a triangular shaped, European style dribble bib that bunches up at the neck. The design, made from two layers of 100 percent cotton with a hi-dry cotton flannel backing, provides several layers of absorbency. The item fits very close to the chin to stop dribbles from making their way to the baby's neck and chest. In addition to the Banda Bibs, the Davis' offer Bitsy Bibs for infants and Big Bibs for six months and older. All the products are available in approximately 35 patterns. For a coordinating set there are burp cloths and paci-clips. The Banda Bib has won two awards from iParenting and PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved). Judging by the adorable prints and the always fine craftsmanship, spring should be a great season for Bazzle Baby. The new line, Whimsical and Mischievous, is inspired by the couple's nine-month-old and 22-month-old daughters Matilda and Lola, who, Amanda says, "can be described exactly that way!" The patterns chosen "reflect the whimsical nature of a child's personality. The designs include Big Eyed Owls, Zebra Print in Chocolate, Swirly Girlie Paisley, Black & White Stripes and lots more. For purists, there's a group of solids in rich hues such as Bahama Blue, Bright Pink, Black Licorice, Lime, Tangerine and Bubble Gum.
