PishPosh Mommy: Your Stuff Organized with Style

Try dropping all the goods into a deep, dark-colored diaper bag and, well, the odds of taking everything one needs - and looking chic - are slim.
"We felt like we were always forgetting something because there wasn't a place for it," say business partners Jenny Hong and Kopal Goonetileke. A marketing and supply chain professional and a pharmacist respectively, the two are both working moms. "At the same time, we still wanted to use our designer purses rather than a bulky diaper bag. So instead of throwing everything into a Ziploc, we came up with a solution that would compartmentalize all our needs... the PishPosh Carryall." In 2008, the team launched PishPosh Mommy, a company "for the mom or mom-to-be who loves organization and wants to keep up with the latest trends." Sounds like most of us.
Their first product, the PishPosh Carryall, is an attractive bag that can be used solo or stored inside a bigger tote. Inside the bag is an organizational device, similar to a woman's lingerie drawer divider that keeps everything in neat, easy-to-see pockets. "No more forgetting an item because it didn't have a place, and long gone are the days of carrying big bulky diaper bags," they say.
PishPosh Mommy's 2010 collection includes a few new items. The Carryall Tote adds handles to the classic Carryall and, like the original, can be used by itself or as an insert. The new Diaper Clutch is perfect for those quick trips when you need a small, sleek piece that holds a diaper or two and wipes. To keep the look coordinated, PishPosh Mommy will offer a 100 percent cotton, coordinating Changing Pad with a water-resistant nylon lining that's washable.
"When we select prints," say Hong and Goonetileke, "we keep in mind the different personalities of moms." To that end, the new SOMA, a sharp red, black and white floral suits the "chic urban" mom; the playful and bright Valencia is ideal for the "fun, whimsical" mother; and for the mom who appreciates a classic look, there's the delicate tones of Noe Blooms.
