In Marilyn Tov's Je t'aime collection for Spring/Summer 2012, ruffles function as both an embellishment and the foundation of a garment, giving the piece a feminine focal point and structure. Not to distract from the modern designs, Tov keeps the palette to a few beach glass colors - light blue, denim, dusty pink and lilac, white and soft gray - then sparks the hues with a hit of pimento.
