U.S. Fashion Tariffs 101: A little context about how tariffs and the trade war impact clothes, shoes, accessories, and travel goods, according to the American Apparel & Footwear Association.

From the National Retail Federation: Speak out against the tariffs. Congress must hear from those of us who pay tariffs — America’s consumers, small businesses and retailers in our communities.

An example of ho w U.S. tar iffs jeopardize small busi nesses in the kids’ indust ry President Trump’s sudden and unpredictable tariffs have caused tremendous concerns among small business owners, whose livelihoods are now in jeopardy. Correspondent Jo Ling Kent talks with Marissa Held-Nordling, who fears she will soon be unable to stock her Little Roos children’s boutique in Chaska, Minnesota; and Beth Benike of Busy Baby, named Minnesota’s “Small Businessperson of the Year,” who says the costs imposed by tariffs may cause her to lose her house. Kent also talks with economic analyst Kyla Scanlon, who says the tariffs are an unnecessary burden.
