October 2, 2018 – Forbes – In September, Chao Wang posted an update on Instagram summarizing the past ten months of her very hectic life, which included quitting her job, breaking up with her boyfriend, moving across the country—and a healthy amount of freaking out. It was an uncommonly honest look at the inner life of an entrepreneur, made even more uncommon by the fact that Wang, a self-described “old millennial,” rarely shares anything about herself on social media. Together with her business partner, Janel Molton Hertz, Wang launched Dopple, an e-commerce site granting access to top designer children’s brands. Molton Hertz, a mother of two and Dopple’s Chief Brand Officer, also acknowledges the gap between her “social media self” and her “real self,” particularly when it comes to the entrepreneur experience.
